Tenant Fee Ban Part I – Video
Since the start of this year, I’ve been inundated with questions from letting agents – at PAC events, seminars, in emails and phone calls – about the tenant fee ban…
Since the government announced their plans to introduce measures against tenant fees, letting agents have been left confused. We’re still not sure of exact details, whether it’s an outright ban or a cap, or even when this ban will be exacted. One thing’s for sure, and that’s the effect it will have on income, with agents standing to lose between 10-25% of their turnover.
I’ve decided to take to camera again and give some tips to letting agents in the UK on how to optimise your income sources and protect your profits, in preparation for when the ban is passed. This first video focuses on your levels of service and how exactly you can build them into layers of income (I wrote a blog on this topic over at Property Agents Circle, if you’re interested). I’ll be posting further videos explaining other things you could do to beat this ban.
If you’d like to stay on top the ban, or would like further resources to help your agency combat it, you can sign up for email updates from PAC, which will include videos, guides, checklists and more for you to refer to.
I’ll see you in the next video!
