By 2005, Sally’s letting agency was totally systemised and operating without her, so she felt she needed a new challenge. She started working as a consultant helping other letting agency businesses systemise and smooth their back end systems over. But by 2009, Sally decided to go all in by starting a franchise operation, to bring her highly systemised and compliant operations to the market.
To promote the business in the early days, she found that the best way to generate interest from a national brand was through social media and online content, a real benefit of this in particular, was the exceptional reach potential, and zero cost. As well as speaking on stages across the country, she set about building up her business online and offline to the phenomenal position it now holds.
After 5 years, Sally now has reach to over 7 million people online, utilising numerous accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Linked in other social platforms, which after referral and recommendation, is the dominating source of new business now and has resulted in literally hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of sales plus an Amazon bestseller as well as launching numerous letting agency branches, without any expenditure on traditional advertising required at all, pretty much unheard of in the Lettings or Franchise world.
This lead to people being interested in how Sally and her team achieved such results without traditional advertising. As a result of continuous questions being asked, Sally, in conjunction with Neil Martin, decided to launch a training system based on their marketing activity called Elite Room, set up to teach business owners, speakers, coaches from all trades, how to promote themselves online and generate real hard sales.
Sally also still has her foot firmly in the property agency world and since 1993, has been an active member of ARLA (The Association of Residential Letting Agents) rising through the ranks to now holding the position of Vice president within the top Letting Agency regulatory body. Sally also assists agents outside of her franchise network through her Property Agents Circle brand, offering training and education on optimising the performance of letting agency businesses.
Sally has built up an expert team around her which includes; property lettings and management professionals, compliance director and trainers, business and operations managers, finance director, course and event managers and operations managers to ensure all of the businesses run like clockwork and her PA Fleur, is on hand to always make sure Sally is always where she needs to be – we wouldn’t expect anything less.
